- I will arrive at an FMJGT (at least) 1/2 hour before my starting time and, when I arrive, I will immediately find the registration table with at FMJGT Tournament Director to check in.
- At registration, if playing a Shotgun Event, I will get my scorecard. If playing an event with Tee Times, I will get my scorecard on the first tee.
- If playing a shotgun event, before the event starts, I will listen for a location to meet and learn about the local rules and how to get out to my starting hole.
- After listening to the Starting Instructions - in a shotgun event I will proceed directly to my starting hole listed on my scorecard. I am not permitted to switch groups unless otherwise directed by a FMJGT Tournament Director. The result of switching groups, without permission, will result in disqualification.
- Once at my starting hole - I WILL Introduce myself AND I will exchange scorecards in my group. I will not keep my own scorecard. I WILL keep the score of a playing competitor on their scorecard. I WILL ALSO, ALWAYS, keep my own score for reference, either on the bottom of my competitors card, an electronic app, or a separate scorecard.
- During my play, I will always play ready golf, keep up to the group ahead of me and play safely.
A SIGNED CARD WILL...
- Have a score that can be read easily in every hole that I played
- It will have my signature to say I agree to the scores that are listed in the holes that I played and all scores are accurate
- It will have my playing competitors signature to say that they AGREE that the scores listed for me are accurate.
- IF there is a ruling OR if there is a disagreement between scores DO NOT SIGN YOUR CARD(s), BUT PROCEED IMMEDIATELY to a FMJGT Tournament Director for assistance.
