Thank you to all the players, families, and supporters who made the 2025 Steve Weidner's Fargo-Moorhead Junior Golf Tour such a memorable summer! Your dedication, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm for the game truly brought the tour to life. From finding fairways to challenging putts, each event was filled with great moments and growing talent. A special thank you goes out to the incredible golf courses that hosted us this season and to the hardworking Tournament Directors who made each event run smoothly.
We’re proud of every junior golfer who teed it up with us, and we can’t wait to see you back on the course next summer! Until then—keep swinging and see you next summer on The Tour!

Event #7 - Osgood Golf Course 9 Holes (All Divisions)
NEW DATE!!!! Friday, July 18th
RESULTS: Donuts, ProV1s, Hole Prizes and Awards! It was a fun finale to our tour at the challenging 9 hole Osgood Golf Course! (and not a single drop of rain!) Thanks to all the juniors that played today along with participating in our tour all summer! We appreciate your support and it's a pleasure to watch you all grow in competitive golf! 2025 FMJGT Season Long Point Leaders Final Results
Points and Awards: Players will accumulate points throughout the tour based on tournament finish of their divisions. Tour Player(s) of the Year for each division will be awarded to the individual with the most points after the first 6 events.
To be eligible for the 2025 Player of the Year in your age division, you must play in at least 3 or more of the first 6 events. Points for the first 6 events will be distributed as follows:
POINTS: 1st 50 Points 2nd 40 Points 3rd 30 Points 4th 20 Points 5th 10 Points
Ties will result in points being divided and playoff for awards (1st and 2nd).
For Example: 2 Players tie for 1st Place Score, Each will get 45 Points (50+40/2) and playoff for 1st place awards.
Along with points, awards will be given to 1st and 2nd places of each division at the end of each event.
Event #6 - Fargo Country Club
RESULTS: Our last point eligible event at Fargo Country Club was full of electricity - literally! With approximately 5 holes left in the 18 Holes Divisions - play was suspended due to lightning. Players didn't let the weather dampen their scores. They returned out to their holes and finished strong on a challenging course. A special THANK YOU to the staff of Fargo CC for your hospitality and assistance through the entire event!
Today's difficult course and weather was taken in stride by the following division leaders. Ella Brasel, Eliana Ceniceros, Izzy Tillisch and Lauren Graveline led the girls with great scores in the 80s. Tenley Johnson and Sutton Bennett represented the Girls 11-12 like champs! Boys 11-12 Division was a close competition with Jackson Bye scoring a 39 for 1st Place and Paxton Wallace one stroke behind with 40 for 2nd. Griffin Lee shot an impressive 76 to lead the Boys 15+ and Will Brasel's score of 75 inched past Hudson Holland's 76 to win the Boys 13-14 Division. You can check out all of today's scores HERE

Event #5 - Moorhead Country Club
RESULTS: Event #5 hosted by Moorhead Country Club was perfect day for golf! Scores trended higher as our 18 Hole Division players navigated the tough back 9 of this championship course. Kash Lorenz (Boys 15+) and Hudson Holland (Boys 13-14) Led their divisions to take 1st place. Girls 18 Hole Division found all the top 5 point-getters shooting under 100! The 11-12/9 Hole Division played the front 9 and scored well with Jack Emmerich scoring another 1st place finish! We have one more 'Point Eligible" tour stop this Monday (July 7th) at Fargo CC! RESULTS: Event #4 hosted by Village Green Golf Course required our players to bring their best. Weather was nice but just enough wind to move the ball off target. Monday, June 23rd will find the FMJGT at Village Green Golf Course with a 7:30 Shotgun for all 18 hole divisions - and tee times shortly after 8am for the 11-12 Division. Event #2 - Maple River Golf Course
RESULTS: Event #2 hosted by The Maple River Golf Course in Mapleton was a great day for golf for our juniors. The warm weather and light winds helped our juniors to score their best. Not only was the temperature in the 70's but the leaders of all our 18 hole divisions shot scores in the 70's too! Great job Juniors!! Check out all the low scores of event #2 HERE!
The FMJGT will continue the tour on a fast pace as they host their second event in one week. You will find our tour players playing in Mapleton on Maple River Golf Course - this Wednesday, June 11th. This will be an 8am shotgun start for all 18hole divisions - with registration starting on the patio at 7:30am. Boys 11-12 will register at 8am and will have tee time following shortly after. Event #1 - The Meadows
RESULTS: Event #1 hosted by The Meadows Golf Course in Moorhead was a great start to the season. It brought challenges of a northwest wind and cool temperatures that juniors had to manage to keep their scores 'hot'. Check out the results of our first event HERE!
The 2025 Steve Weidner's FM Jr Golf Tour will host their first event of the season - Monday, June 9th at The Meadows Golf Course. With a tournament field of almost 60 juniors, it's sure to be a great day of competition and fun. Divisions Boys 15+, Boys 13-14, Girls 18 Holes will all play 18 Holes. Boys 11-12 Division will play 9 Holes. Registration will begin at 7:30 for an 8:00 Shotgun for all 18 Hole Players. 9 Hole Players can register at 8am and their tee time will follow shortly after registration. THANK YOU JUNIORS, PARENTS, GOLF COURSES, PGA PROFESSIONALS AND FMJGT STAFF for a successful 2024 TOUR! We hosted 7 events and averaged 70+ juniors in our events. We played 9 Hole Courses, Public Courses and Private Courses throughout the Fargo-Moorhead Area. We take pride in being a developmental tour providing competitive golf experience for area juniors at a nominal fee for 35+ years. We are proud as our juniors grow - some to enjoy higher competitive golf opportunities and some to enjoy playing recreationally with friends and family in this life-long sport. The Meadows - July 8th - Event #5
UPDATE: Scores were HOT like fireworks at The Meadows for some of our divisions. All Point Earners in the Boys 15+ Division posted sub 80 rounds! Olivia Roaldson led the Girls 18 Hole Division with a 79 and Madi Schue was just 1 stroke behind taking 2nd Place. Sutton Bennett and Whitney Schue lead the girls 9 Hole Division with great playing. It's also a competitive race in the Boys 11-12 between Talan Sinner and Graham Doeden as they conquer the back 9 of our Tour Courses. Boys 15+, Boys 13-14 and Girls 18 Hole Divisions will start with a 7:30 Shotgun. Please register at 7am so we know you are attending and get your scorecard. Event # 4 (New Date) July 21st - Moorhead Country Club
Get excited and get ready for our last 18 hole stroke play event of the season. After this event, our 2023 Season Point Leaders will be known. We will call them the "Suite Shots" Season Point Leader, as top Leader in each age division will win a gift certificate for Suite Shots!

Event #6 - Fargo Country Club Results
Fargo Country Club was in prime condition as our host course today. We had our largest field yet playing at the FCC. Check out the results to our event HERE

Event #6 at Fargo Country Club will be an 8AM shotgun for all 18 Hole Divisions (Boys 15+, Girls 18, Boys 13-14).
Girls 9 and Boys 11-12 will play 9 Holes with tee times starting at 9am.
All DIVISIONS Please register 1/2 hour prior to your start time.

Event #5 - Meadows Golf Course RESULTS
We had perfect weather and a full field play at The Meadows Golf Course today. Special Thanks to the golf course for hosting us! Great golf was played by all divisions. Check out the results of the event HERE
Event #5 - Meadows Golf Course
We are back and ready for our next event at Meadows Golf Course - in Moorhead, MN. Find your pairings HERE. This event will be a 7:30am Shotgun. Boys 15+, Boys 13-14, Girls 18 will all check in at 7am. At 7:20 there will be a meeting on the practice green and from there we will send juniors out to their starting holes. Boys 11-12 and Girls 9 will check in by 7:30am. These divisions will play the back nine (holes 10-18) as their 9 Hole Event. They will be given tee times at registration that will start about 8am. Good Luck Juniors and Play Well!

NO EVENT THIS WEDNESDAY, July 5th.
Our Event #4 at Moorhead Country Club has been RESCHEDULED for Friday, JULY 21st for a 7:30am shotgun. We apologize for any inconvenience. All juniors currently entered in the Moorhead CC Event for the first date (July 5th) will be automatically entered into the Moorhead CC event for the new date of July 21st.
The registration will stay open for this event #4 (Moorhead CC) until MONDAY, July 17th. For some, this allows juniors to still enter in the event. For others, we unfortunately realize you may have a conflict on this new date. Please email Tour Director Kari at [email protected] for a refund if you entered the Moorhead CC event and the new date will not work.
Sorry for any inconvenience and our next event will be MONDAY, July 10th at Meadows Golf Course. Please register by Wednesday, July 5th for the Meadows Event.

Event #3- Village Green Golf Course RESULTS
It was an awesome day for our first 18 Hole Event on the Tour for the Boys 13-14, Boys 15+ and Girls 18 Division. The longer golf course at Village Green didn't bother many today as scores were great. See the RESULTS HERE

Entry is open to any boy or girl who is a resident of Fargo, Moorhead, West Fargo, Mapleton, Casselton, Kindred and D-G-F, as well as those who are members of the Oxbow Country Club, Hickson, ND. Entrants must be 11 years of age on or prior to the first scheduled tournament and may compete through summer of senior year in high school.
